Project leaflet: CARMONY in a nutshell
Deliverable D2.1 – Use Cases refinement and specifications definitions (Draft)
This deliverable presents the refined use cases, user needs, and high-level requirements that form the foundation of the CARMONY Interlinked Orchestration Framework. It defines actors, interactions, data exchange needs, CCAM message specifications, and KPIs that will guide the project’s architecture, simulation environment, governance models, orchestrator development and pilot implementations (in Murcia and Luxembourg).
The document is shared publicly as a draft version, pending formal approval by the European Commission.
Deliverable D2.2 – CARMONY System of systems requirements and specifications
(Draft)
This deliverable provides an overview of the work carried out within the CARMONY project on traffic orchestration. It introduces the relevant background and reviews the current state of the art, also considering related application domains. The document presents the initial system-of-systems models developed for the project use cases and outlines the identified data exchange needs and human–machine interface specifications. Overall, it delivers a shared understanding of orchestration concepts, early use case models and the technical foundations required to support interoperable orchestration within CARMONY.
The document is submitted to the European Commission for review but has not been accepted so far. As soon as the final version of this document is available, this document should be deleted.
Deliverable D2.3 – Requirements for Simulation platforms within CARMONY project
(Draft)
This deliverable describes the progress achieved following the definition of high-level use case requirements, with a particular focus on simulation-related components of the CARMONY project. It defines the requirements and specifications for the co-simulation framework supporting the integration of heterogeneous real-time and offline simulation tools, data sources and systems. The document details simulation needs for the use cases implemented at the Murcia and Luxembourg pilot sites and introduces a structured approach to requirement validation, ensuring completeness and consistency at an early project stage. The report also reflects on key challenges, achievements and forthcoming activities.
The document is submitted to the European Commission for review but has not been accepted so far. As soon as the final version of this document is available, this document should be deleted.
Deliverable D2.4 – Key Performance Indicators definition and evaluation data / Download the Appendix
(Draft)
This deliverable establishes the evaluation approach for the CARMONY project, addressing both the Interlinked Orchestrator and the impacts of the six project use cases implemented in Murcia and Luxembourg. Its main outcome is a consolidated and validated KPI framework that translates project objectives into measurable and operational indicators applicable to real-world pilots and simulation-based assessments. Developed through an iterative and collaborative process, the framework ensures methodological consistency, feasibility under operational constraints and comparability of results across pilots and scenarios. In addition, the deliverable defines dedicated indicators to assess the performance and reliability of the Interlinked Orchestrator as an operational service.
The document is submitted to the European Commission for review but has not been accepted so far. As soon as the final version of this document is available, this document should be deleted.
